For a year I studied Chinese at Beijing Normal University (S¬N^ƒ'Yf[). During my M.A. I broadened my extracurricular knowledge in the fields of economics and law through courses offered by the Warsaw University.</p> <p>I have several years of experience in translation and interpretation both in Chinese and English. Apart from major projects, like the translation of DK Eyewitness Guide to China (Hachette-Livre Polska Publishing House), I translated various documents, interpreted at negotiations, business trips, during visits of Chinese guests in Poland etc. Even before graduating with an M.A. degree, I was a full-time translator and interpreter for Eura Group Ltd., a Polish-Chinese construction company, where my responsibilities included facilitating communication between Chinese workers and company managers as well as day-to-day administrative duties.</p> <p>My research interests in the Faculty of Sinology include Chinese legal history (M.A. dissertation topic:  Law and Family During the Tang: The Image of Family in Tang Dynasty (618-907) Law ).
